This October, the Canadian vocalist embarks on his first-ever solo headline tour of Australia, performing The Best of INXS. With a voice that once helped carry the band into a new chapter, JD is now set to light up stages across the country with a dynamic, full-band live show featuring all the anthems fans know and love: Need You Tonight, Never Tear Us Apart, Don’t Change, Devil Inside, Pretty Vegas, Original Sin, New Sensation, Suicide Blonde — and more.
In an exclusive interview with Metal on Tap, JD opens up about the wild ride of Rockstar: INXS, his deep personal connection to the band’s music, his admiration for Michael Hutchence, and why he considers Australia his second home.
“There are cover bands that pretend to be INXS… and then there’s the guy who was in INXS.”
