Sydney’s Factory Theatre erupted into a wall of sound as Be’lakor brought their 20 Years of Live celebration to town — with Persefone, Orpheus Omega, and local juggernauts Evocatus turning the night into a full-blown melodic death metal showcase for the ages.

Metal on Tap was right there in the thick of it, capturing every soaring lead, every blastbeat, and every roar from the pit. Evocatus kicked off the night with a punishing set that perfectly primed the crowd — fierce, sharp, and dripping with that signature Aussie grit. Orpheus Omega followed, celebrating the tenth anniversary of Partum Vita Mortem with the kind of intensity that reminded everyone why they’re one of this country’s melodic metal cornerstones.

Then came Persefone, finally making their long-awaited Australian debut — and they were jaw-dropping. The Andorran prog-death maestros delivered a performance that was equal parts technical brilliance and emotional weight, leaving the crowd in stunned silence before erupting into chaos.

And when Be’lakor took the stage, it was nothing short of monumental. A masterclass in dynamics and atmosphere — heavy, hypnotic, and loaded with twenty years of passion and precision. Every song felt like a celebration, every moment a testament to how far this band has come.
