The nu-metal revival in Las Vegas continues with the announcement of the third edition of the Sick New World festival, set for April 12, 2025, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. This year’s headliners will be none other than Metallica and Linkin Park, promising a monumental back-to-back performance that will anchor the event.
The festival will feature over 50 acts, showcasing an eclectic mix of metal, hardcore, punk, industrial, darkwave, and more. Fans can expect heavy-hitting performances from Gojira, Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, Cannibal Corpse, The Sisters of Mercy, Meshuggah, and Cradle of Filth, to name a few.
One of the highlights of the festival will be a rare reunion set from sludge legends Acid Bath, who will perform live for the first time in over 30 years. Other standout acts include Mastodon, Refused, Dethklok, Glassjaw, Melvins, and Testament, with additional performances by bands like Terror, Machine Head, Arch Enemy, Kittie, and Napalm Death.
