Breakout Indie Hit ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Gets a Metal Makeover from Heavyweight Legends of the Scene!

The project, Cult Of The Lamb: Hymns Of The Unholy, is set to release on October 28 and will feature six metal-infused tracks. The album brings together a powerhouse lineup, including contributions from Howard Jones of Light The Torch and former Killswitch Engage vocalist, Trivium’s Matt Heafy, Polyphia’s Scott LePage and Clay Gober, Animals As Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes, Malevolence guitarist Josh Baines, While She Sleeps guitarist Sean Long, and ex-Monuments drummer Mike Malyan.

Matt Heafy shared his excitement, saying, “Video games have always been an important part of my life, so working with the Massive Monster team to turn Cult of the Lamb’s iconic soundtrack into a metal album has been amazing… I hope the metal community and anyone who hasn’t played Cult of the Lamb before embraces this as a standalone album and checks out the game!”

Jay Armstrong, co-founder of Massive Monster, echoed the enthusiasm, explaining: “We’re huge fans of metal music and know there’s a lot of metalheads in the Cult Of The Lamb community too… All the artists featured on this release have given 100% to the project, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support and the backing of their management.”

Released in August 2022, Cult Of The Lamb follows a young lamb saved from death, who is tasked with building a cult under the direction of a mysterious entity known as The One Who Waits. The game has been widely praised for its unique art style, engaging storyline, and high replay value.
