Melbourne’s beloved pop punk and indie rock heroes SLOWLY SLOWLY made a powerful return to the stage last night at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, delivering an unforgettable set as part of their Forgiving Spree Australian Tour. With their fifth studio album due out in January, the band showed exactly why they’ve become one of Australia’s most adored live acts.

Kicking off the night, Philadelphia’s GRAYSCALE set the mood with a dynamic and emotionally charged set, drawing the crowd in with heartfelt lyrics and anthemic hooks. They laid a solid foundation for what was to come!

HONEY REVENGE took things up a notch. Bursting with kaleidoscopic energy and pop punk charm, the LA duo lit up the Enmore with tracks from their 2023 debut Retrovision. Their vibrant stage presence, punchy melodies and playful charisma had the crowd bouncing from start to finish.

By the time SLOWLY SLOWLY hit the stage, anticipation had reached its peak. From the opening notes to the final encore, the band delivered a perfectly balanced set of fan favourites like “Blueprint” and “Race Car Blues” alongside new cuts from Forgiving Spree. Frontman Ben Stewart was in his element—switching effortlessly between infectious singalongs and raw, reflective moments.

They this tour would be their most ambitious and intimate yet, and they absolutely delivered. The chemistry between the band and their fans was palpable, and the new material landed just as hard as the classics.
