Bowling for Soup absolutely smashed it with a setlist stacked with bangers, laughs, and a whole lot of good vibes. From the first chords of “My Hometown,” the crowd was all in, belting out every word and soaking up the band’s cheeky energy.
The setlist was a proper trip down memory lane. Classics like “Almost,” “The Bitch Song,” and “Ohio (Come Back to Texas)” had everyone jumping, while Jaret’s & Rob’s banter kept the mood light and hilarious. They know how to work a crowd, throwing out gags and stories that had punters chuckling between songs.
“Punk Rock 101” and “High School Never Ends” turned the room into one big singalong, but when they dropped the Phineas and Ferb theme, “Today Is Gonna Be a Great Day,” the nostalgia hit hard, and the crowd lapped it up.
The encore sealed the deal. “Shut-Up and Smile” kept the party rolling, “Girl All the Bad Guys Want” had everyone losing it, and “1985” wrapped up the night in style, with the whole place going off.
Bowling for Soup reminded us why they’ve been legends in the pop-punk game for so long. With killer tunes, sharp wit, and a genuine connection with their fans, they proved they’re still top of their game.
Best Moment: The roof almost blew off during “1985.”
Rating: Bloody brilliant – 11/10.
